tnla and associates were invited to revisit and integrate a previous project with the addition of a lush poolside and production garden to meet the shifting needs of the client's now adult family.

Bluestone paving to the pool surrounds creates a unified surface, providing a strong link between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The pool enclosure features a stacked stone wall that serves as a backdrop to the lush poolscape, with poolside planting of native and exotic plants that are well adapted to the coastal conditions. The carefully curated selection of plants injects seasonal bursts of color, alternating from silvers, greens, and purples, each plant bringing its unique shape and texture. The outcome is a space carefully integrated into the existing garden that responds to the contemporary needs of the adult family.
