Lake Connewarre lookout

The site, overlooking RAMSAR listed Lake Connewarre, was a marginal, isolated parcel of land. The essence of the brief was to use as much recycled material as possible and to bring people to this under utilised part of the lake. The response is to emphasise the sense of prospect the site offers and the nexus between sky and water.

In conjunction with Parks Victoria and the City of Greater Geelong, tnla provided an observation deck with interpretation signage, planting and parking facilities resulting in an increase in public use and amenity.
